Living and working around Akurdi in Pune means you get used to the industrial vibe pretty fast. Our office for Star Eng Pvt Ltd is right in the heart of things here. It’s a practical location for us because it’s close to a lot of the other shops and factories we deal with. Every morning starts about the same way, with the sound of the traffic and the local train nearby. We aren't a huge team, just a group of people who know how to handle engineering tasks without making a big fuss about it. The office is simple. We have what we need to get through the day, and we don't spend money on things that don't help us work better. Pune can be quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes customers drop by to talk about a project, and we just sit around the old table and figure it out. There’s no big reception desk or people in suits. We usually have grease on our hands anyway. It’s a decent place to be if you like being productive. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years, with new buildings coming up, but we just stay focused on our own little corner. Akurdi has its own rhythm, and we’ve definitely become a part of it by now. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
