Star Communication

You can find Star Communication in the Hadapsar Kadodara area. It’s mostly a place for fixing phones and getting recharges done. We have a glass counter that’s always got a few scratched screens and tools lying around on it. The light inside is quite bright so we can see the tiny screws in the mobiles. People come in when their batteries die or they drop their phones on the pavement. We do our best to fix things, but sometimes parts take a few days to arrive. It gets noisy with the traffic from the main road outside. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they wait. We sell some basic accessories too, like chargers and earphones that we hang on the wall hooks. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a small room with a lot of wires and a soldering iron that stays hot most of the day. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit since we started. More people have smartphones now, so we stay busy with screen guards and software updates. We don't have a big sign, just enough for people to know what we do. It’s a simple living. Sometimes we share tea with the shopkeeper next door when it's slow. We just stay here and work on whatever device is on the bench. It's often messy with cables everywhere but we find our way through it somehow.
