Standard Engineering Company

Standard Engineering Company is situated in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. Our specific spot is 131/7 B, which we call ‘Chandan’, over in Shinde Vasti. If you know Hadapsar, you know it’s a place where things are actually made. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving in the background. Our building is a practical one. It’s built for work, not for showing off. We spend our days dealing with various engineering projects. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by people who understand the trade. We don't have a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find someone in the back working on a machine or looking at a blueprint. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. The floor is concrete and often has a bit of oil or metal shavings on it. That is just how it is when you are doing real engineering work. We’ve been part of the Shinde Vasti community for years. People around here know us as the guys who get the job done without making a big fuss about it. We like it this way. It’s honest work in a part of Pune that knows the value of a hard day's labor and we don't plan on changing how we do things anytime soon.
