Stan Plant India

Out here in Nahregaon, specifically around 43/9-16 in Manajee Nagar, things move at a bit of a different pace. We’re in the Tal Haveli area, which is a bit of a drive from the main city traffic. Stan Plant India is basically a big workshop where we build and fix heavy plant machinery. It’s a dusty place, and the sun hits the tin roof pretty hard in the summer months. We spend our days dealing with heavy steel, engines, and hydraulics. It’s hard on the hands and the back. Most of the guys here are from the local villages, and they know their way around a wrench. We don’t have much of an office, just a small corner with a desk that’s usually buried under blueprints and invoices. Lunch is usually spent sitting on some crates under the shade of the trees outside. We’ve had some tough times, like when the rains flooded the road and we couldn’t get trucks in for a week, but we always manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be some huge international company. We just want to build machines that don’t break down the second they get to the site. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We listen to the machines and we fix what’s wrong. It’s simple, practical work, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a few years now without much fuss.
