Srushti Deli is a small outfit located at Shop No. F5 on Plot No. 14 in the Erandwana area. Our address is linked to CTS No. 41, which is just technical talk for where we are situated in this part of Pune. Erandwana is a nice neighborhood, and we like being here because it feels like a real community. We aren't a big supermarket or a fancy cafe. We are a deli, which means we handle a variety of items and keep things simple. Most of the day is spent stocking the shelves or talking to the people who walk in from the street. It is a small space, so you can't really fit more than a few people at a time, but that makes it feel more personal. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to sell good things and keep the shop running. Some days are slow and we just sit and wait, while other days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch. That is just the way it is when you run a small local business. We handle our own cleaning and our own books. It is just a few of us making sure everything is in order. If you are in Erandwana, you have probably passed by our shop without even realizing it is a private business.
