Sri Kamakshi Amman Agencies operates out of Flat No-5 in the Varad Vinayak building, located at 39/2/1. It is a residential-style setup, which makes the whole place feel a bit more like a home than a cold office. When you walk in, you are likely to see a couple of desks squeezed into what used to be a living room. We have been here for a while, and the walls are covered with calendars and some old notes taped up so we do not forget things. It is not the biggest space, so we have to be careful about where we put the files and the printer so no one trips. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when more than two people are trying to move around at once. We handle a lot of agency work, which means a lot of phone calls and checking on orders throughout the day. It is just a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything—from making tea to filing the paperwork. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at a front desk. If the doorbell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to open it. We like the quiet of the building, and the neighbors are mostly used to us being here by now. It is a simple, low-key way to run things, and it suits our style just fine without any unnecessary fluff or corporate talk. We just do our best.
