Started Sphinx Software Technology Solutions right here at home in Vidyanagari Society. Our place is Plot 610/37 in Dhankawadi, Pune. It’s a quiet residential area, so it’s pretty good for focusing on code. Most of the time, the living room is just full of laptops and wires. We didn't want a big glass building in a tech park because the commute in Pune is just too much these days. People usually call us or drop by when they have a problem with their systems. It isn't anything fancy. We drink a lot of chai and just try to get the software working like it should. Sometimes the internet acts up, or we have to deal with the usual power cuts, but we manage. My neighbor's dog usually barks when a delivery comes, which you can hear on our calls sometimes. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s mostly just us handling the technical side of things for local clients. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. Being in Dhankawadi keeps us close to everything we need. It's practical. We don't spend money on big signs. Most people find us through someone else they know. It’s a bit cramped with all the servers humming in the corner, but we get the job done. Just a small group of us trying to make a living with computers.
