Speciality Metal Products

We are located at 102/A in Hadapsar, specifically on 4th Main in Maruthi Nagar. It’s quite close to the Tata Honeywell building. Speciality Metal Products is basically a place where we deal with different kinds of metal sheets and rods. The warehouse is a bit cluttered with stock and leftover scraps. We move things around with a manual trolley. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting for the boys. Hadapsar is a major hub for this kind of industrial work, so we have a lot of neighbors in the same line of business. The office is just a small corner with a computer and a lot of logbooks that track every order. I spend my time checking the inventory and talking to suppliers on the phone. It is often quite noisy because of the trucks loading and unloading on 4th Main. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to attract attention. People who need metal products usually know the Maruthi Nagar area well and find us by word of mouth. It gets very hot in the summer under the metal roof, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. It’s a practical business and we don't have time for anything unnecessary. We just provide the materials as they are needed. Sometimes a customer comes in with a very specific size requirement and we have to see if we can cut it for them using the old saw.
