Special Steel Stores

Working at Special Steel Stores means being out in the Bhosari Industrial Estate. Our address is P No T-22, right on Telco Road near the Reliance building. It is an industrial area through and through, so expect plenty of noise, trucks, and the smell of metal and oil. We’ve been here for years, and the shop is exactly what you’d expect from a steel store. It’s a big, open space with heavy racks and a lot of weight moving around. We don't have a climate-controlled office or fancy lighting. We have a desk in the corner where the ledger stays and where we take orders over the phone. Most of our days are spent loading and unloading, checking inventory, and making sure the cuts are right. It’s physical work and it can be exhausting, especially when the heat hits in the afternoon. We don't have a marketing department; our customers are usually other business owners or contractors from the MIDC area who know we have what they need. We’ve seen the industrial estate grow and change, with new factories popping up all around us. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but that’s just life on Telco Road. We don't make big promises, we just tell people what we have in stock and when they can pick it up. It’s a straightforward way of doing business that has served us well for a long time.
