Somnath Provision Store

Somnath Provision Store is our little shop in the Khondhwa Navdeep area. We have been serving the families around here for quite some time. It is a small space, so we have to stack the grains and pulses pretty high up towards the ceiling. You will find all the basic stuff you need for your kitchen here. We open early in the morning so people can get what they need before work starts. It gets quite busy around five or six in the evening when everyone is heading home and remembers they forgot some salt or cooking oil. We don't have fancy shopping carts, just small baskets and our own hands to help you carry things to your car. My nephew helps out behind the counter most days, and he is faster at doing the math than I am. We know most of our customers by name and what they usually buy on Tuesdays. Sometimes we run out of something because the distributor did not show up, but we usually get it back in stock within a day or two. The shop isn't perfectly painted, and the floor has some scratches from all the heavy bags being moved around. It is just a normal neighborhood store. We don't try to be anything else. We just like being the place where you can grab your groceries and have a quick chat before heading back to your house.
