Soham Electricals & Mobile Shoppee

Our place, Soham Electricals & Mobile Shoppee, is tucked away at Dhole Patil Road 4th Cross, Langford Road. It is a bit of a unique setup because we handle both electrical supplies and mobile phone stuff. You might see a stack of light bulbs right next to some phone chargers. It happened because we just kept adding things that people asked for over the years. The shop is narrow and deep. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, so we have to use a ladder quite often. It is a bit rickety, but it gets us to the top boxes. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we are used to it. We get a lot of workers coming in for wires or switches in the morning, and then students looking for phone repairs in the afternoon. It keeps the day interesting. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. The paint is peeling a little at the edges. My brother and I run the place together. We don't always agree on where to put things, but we manage. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand. Whether it is fixing a circuit or selling a new battery, we just take it one customer at a time and try to stay organized in our own way.
