Softideas

Softideas is over at Kamal-Nayan, building 123/1. We’re in Santoshnagar, which is part of the Katraj area in Pune. If you’ve ever been to Katraj, you know it’s got a lot of energy, especially with the students and the traffic moving towards the highway. Our building, Kamal-Nayan, is a regular spot. It’s not one of those high-tech parks you see on the other side of town. We prefer it this way. It feels more like being part of the real city. The office is pretty simple. We’ve got our workstations set up, and there’s usually a stack of notebooks and some half-empty tea cups around. It’s a place where ideas actually get worked on. Santoshnagar has everything we need nearby, so we don't have to go far for a quick snack or supplies. We’ve been here for a while now, and the routine is pretty set. We show up, deal with the software tasks or whatever projects are on the board, and try to make sense of the work. There’s no fancy lobby or a person in a suit waiting to greet you. It’s just us. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of hard work over the years. We like the grit of Katraj. It keeps us grounded while we work on whatever tech things we’re doing at Softideas. It’s a practical space for practical work.
