Softecture

Softecture is tucked away in Sanjeevni Apartment, right over in Sector 27 near Bhel Chowk. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. We're on Plot No- 327, and honestly, it feels more like a home than a workplace most days. There are always computers humming and cables running across the floor. We spend a lot of time staring at screens, trying to figure out why a piece of code isn't doing what it’s supposed to do. It can get pretty quiet when everyone is focused, then suddenly someone starts talking about a bug and we all get into it. The area around Nigdi is nice because we can just step out to the chowk if we need a break or some food. We started this because we liked building things on the web, and we've just stayed at it. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run into deadlines that keep us here late into the evening, but that's just the nature of software. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just come in, find a spot, and we talk about what needs to be built. It’s a bit cramped with all the servers and desks, but it works for us. We're just a small group of people who know how to handle technical stuff and we do it right here from the apartment. It's a bit cluttered with papers and empty coffee mugs, but it's where we work.
