We’re located over on R C Dutt Road in Anand Nagar, right in the Alkapuri area. Smtech Softwares is basically just a group of us who enjoy building software and solving puzzles. The office isn't anything you’d see in a fancy magazine, but it’s our space and it works for what we do. We’ve got some sturdy desks, a lot of monitors, and usually a few half-empty bags of snacks lying around near the coffee machine. Alkapuri is a busy part of town, so there's always a lot of noise and movement going on outside our windows. We do a bit of everything when it comes to software, from small apps to helping local businesses organize their data a bit better. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. Not every line of code works the first time we write it, and we spend plenty of hours debugging things that we thought would be simple. We don’t use a lot of fancy marketing words to describe what we do. We just write programs that work. Most of our clients are just regular people trying to get their business running a bit smoother. It’s good work, even if it can be a bit tedious when you’re looking at a screen for eight hours straight without a break. We try to be helpful and we actually answer the phone when it rings. If you're walking down R C Dutt Road, you're right near where we spend most of our time. It’s a decent place to work.
