S.M.Engineers

We operate out of Jubilee Apartments in Talegaon Dabhade. It's unit number 12. S.M.Engineers has been here for a good while. Talegaon is a bit quieter than the main Pune city, which we appreciate. The air is a little better and it’s not as frantic. Our office is just a regular apartment space we've set up for work. There are a few of us here every day. Drafting tables and computers are squeezed into the rooms. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or a receptionist. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and answers it. Usually, it’s just the mail or someone delivering supplies. Technical stuff takes up most of our time. The walls are a bit bare, maybe a map or two pinned up. A small balcony provides a bit of air when the work gets heavy. The apartment complex is mostly families, so it’s pretty calm during the day. Sometimes we have to move some boxes around to make space for a meeting. We don't have a big boardroom or anything. Sitting around the main table is how we do things. It’s practical and it works for us. We've known the people in this building for years. It’s a steady place to be. We just keep doing what we do without much fuss. If you come by in the afternoon, there's usually a nice breeze.
