Skf India Pune is situated over in the Chinchwad area of Pune. Our office is located at Flat No. 08 on the second floor of Shivanjali Apartments, which is on Plot No. 165/1B in Indiranagar. Working out of an apartment building gives our day-to-day work a very different feel than being in a big glass office park. We see the same neighbors every day and it feels more like being part of a community. The building is older and the stairs can be a bit of a climb since the elevator is sometimes out of order. Inside the flat, we have set up our desks and files to make it a proper workspace. It’s a bit tight when we have all the staff in at once, but we make it work. Chinchwad is a busy industrial part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We don’t have a big lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, someone just shouts from their desk when a visitor arrives. We focus on our work and try not to get too distracted by the noise from the street. It’s a very honest way to work, without all the corporate polish you see in the newer parts of Pune. We’ve been here long enough that we know the best places to get a quick snack or tea nearby. It’s a modest setup but it suits the kind of work we do here.
