Our office for Sipl Agro Organic And Herbal Private Limited is located in Pune, specifically in the Revenue Colony area of Shivaji Nagar. It’s on the fifth floor of the B Hotel building at 1170/17/B. It is quite a busy area with a lot of traffic and people moving around all the time. Being in the city helps with the paperwork and the business side of things, even though our hearts are mostly in the herbs and organic farming out in the rural spots. We spend our days coordinating between the farmers and the city markets. It is a lot of phone calls and emails. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving papers, but then we get a fresh batch of herbs in and the whole place smells like the outdoors. It is a decent space, though it gets a bit crowded when we have a few people over for meetings. We started this because we wanted to see more herbal products being used in the city. Pune is a good place for that because people here care about what they eat. It isn’t always easy balancing the city life with the farming side. There are days when the traffic in Shivaji Nagar makes you want to stay inside, but we keep going. It’s just us, working out of a flat in a busy colony, trying to keep the agro business moving along.
