Our engineering spot is located at 506/507 Ghopadipeth. We are tucked away right behind Varsha Bakery on Shivaji Road in the Pune-42 area. Being behind a bakery is actually one of the best parts about being here, because the smell of fresh bread and biscuits is always in the air when we arrive in the morning. The building is quite old and sits in a very busy, crowded part of the city. We don't have a sprawling campus. It’s more of a compact, urban setup where every bit of space is used for something. We have workshops filled with tools and parts, and a few rooms for drawing and planning. It’s a bit dusty and can get quite loud with all the work going on, but that’s just how engineering is. We don't spend money on making the place look like a corporate office. It’s a place for getting your hands dirty and learning how things are built. The students and staff here are all very practical people. We don't go in for big speeches or fancy marketing. We just show up at Shivaji Road and get to work. Most people find us just by looking for the bakery and then coming around the back. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of establishment. We’ve been a part of the Ghopadipeth neighborhood for a long time and we like the busy feel of the area.
