Our place is located in Chakan, right by Ambethan Chowk. We’re in the Vaishali Complex, specifically flat D/14. Chakan is a busy industrial hub, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the big trucks on the road outside. Our pharmaceutical office is up on the third floor. The building has seen some years, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend most of our time here managing the distribution and keeping track of orders. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always lock right, and a big map on the wall. The windows look out over the intersection, so we can see the traffic jams forming in the evenings. It gets quite hot in the afternoon when the sun hits the front of the complex. We have a small fridge for water and our lunch boxes. The staff here is small, usually just three or four of us at a time. We do a lot of typing and phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in this district. We keep a few torches handy. It’s a practical workspace. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. We just get the work done and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life in a busy part of the Pune district.
