Our place, Sigma Communications, is right on East Street in the Camp area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets really packed with people, especially on the weekends. We have been at this spot for a while, and the shop is usually filled with the sound of the street and people coming in to ask about sim cards or phone plans. It is just a basic shop with a counter and some display racks for phones. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who are confused about their internet settings or need a new battery for an old handset. The space is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of stock in the back, and sometimes the boxes pile up near the door. We don't have fancy lights or anything, just the usual tube lights and a couple of stools for when customers need to wait for a backup to finish. East Street is a good place to be, even if the parking is a total nightmare for everyone. We see all kinds of people here, from students looking for cheap earphones to older people who just want someone to help them delete their messages. It is a lot of work keeping up with all the new gadgets, but we just take it one day at a time. The tea guy from next door comes by twice a day, and that is usually our only break.
