Siddhi Watch Center

Siddhi Watch Center is located in Mundhwa, right near the Ganesh Mandir. It’s a landmark that everyone in this part of town knows well. I like being near the temple; it gives the area a certain feel. My shop is just a small place where I handle watch repairs. I’ve got a bench that’s been with me since I started. It’s worn down in the spots where I rest my elbows. Most days are spent hunched over, looking at the inner workings of some watch that someone brought in. Mundhwa has changed a lot over the years, getting busier and more built up, but inside the shop, it’s mostly just me and the ticking clocks. I handle all the basic stuff like batteries, straps, and cleaning out dust. Sometimes I get something more complicated, like a watch that got dropped in water. Those are tricky because rust starts fast. I try to be honest with people about whether something can be fixed or if it’s not worth the money. I don't see the point in overcomplicating things. I open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and start on the pile of repairs. It’s a steady way to live. People come by, we talk about the weather or the traffic, and I fix their watches. That’s about all there is to it. I've got my tea in the afternoon and my tools, and that's enough to keep me going until closing time.
