Siddhagiri Metals & Tubes

You can find us at J-430 in the M.I.D.C. area of Bhosari. This place is the heart of the industrial zone, so it's always dusty and loud with the sound of trucks and heavy machinery. Siddhagiri Metals & Tubes is basically a large shed where we keep all our stock. We deal with a lot of heavy pipes and metal sections, so the floor is always scratched up and dirty. There’s no air conditioning here, just some big industrial fans that move the hot air around. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading materials, which is hard work and gets your clothes greasy pretty fast. The guys working here are tough and they know their way around a caliper and a cutting machine. We don’t have a polished showroom; if you come to visit, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes covered in a bit of dust. The MIDC life is pretty simple—you show up early, get the orders ready, and hope the transport trucks arrive on time. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and the whole area goes quiet for a while, which is a nice break from the usual noise of the saws. We eat our lunch together in a small corner near the main door. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’ve been doing it for years and we know the metal business well enough. Most of our day is spent checking sizes and making sure the tubes are cut right for the clients.
