Shyam Ahuja

Our place is at Mit Iris on Karimbhoy Road, over by the Mahavir Swami Pole in the Camp area. It’s a location that has its own character. If you’ve walked around here, you know it’s got that specific feel of a busy neighborhood mixed with some older spots. We handle a lot of different things under the Shyam Ahuja name. The space we have isn't overly decorated. It's more about having room for all the materials and products we work with. Most days, you’ll find us sorting through things or talking to people who have been coming to us for years. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We like the personal side of the business. The Camp area is always bustling, and being near the Mahavir Swami Pole means there's a lot of foot traffic and local energy. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure things are done correctly. It can get a bit noisy with the street sounds coming in, but we don't mind it much. It makes us feel part of the city. We don't have a big mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just show up, open the doors at Mit Iris, and get to work. It’s a simple setup that works for us and the people who visit us. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we plan to stay right here.
