Our place is at Survey No.17 in Sidharth Nagar. We are situated right near the Dhanori-Lohegaon Road, which is a route that has been getting much busier lately. You can find us by looking for the workshop where there is usually some welding going on. We do a lot of steel work here, mostly focusing on things for homes and small buildings. The workshop is an open kind of space where the air flows through, which is good because of the heat from the welding torches. We have piles of scrap metal in one corner and finished frames in another. The sound of the metal cutter is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. People from the new housing projects nearby often come in to ask about railings or safety doors. We don't have a showroom or anything like that; you just see what we are making right there on the floor. It’s a bit of a rough environment with all the iron dust and the smell of burnt metal, but we like the work. Our neighbors are other small businesses and some residential blocks, so it is a mix of people coming and going. We keep the gates open from morning until late evening, just getting through the list of jobs we have for the week.
