Shrikrushna Kanhalya Caterers

Down here in the Hadapsar Gurdwara Market area, things stay pretty busy. Shrikrushna Kanhalya Caterers is tucked in among the other shops and stalls. It’s a loud place most days, with the sounds of the market all around us. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Instead, we have a workspace where the actual cooking and prep happen. Most of our time is spent checking lists and making sure the big pots are clean and ready for the next job. Dealing with catering means we’re often moving stuff back and forth, loading up crates and getting ready to head out to different spots. The market can be a bit of a mess with all the people and traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this because we knew how to cook and people needed help with their events. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot and the stoves are going full blast. You end up with flour on your clothes and tired hands at the end of a long shift. We just stay focused on the orders we have for the week. It’s a local business through and through, run by people who live right around here. We don’t do much advertising; mostly people just find us because they’re already walking through the Gurdwara Market anyway. It’s just how we make our living.
