Shrikrishna General Stores

Shrikrishna General Stores is located in Sangavi, specifically around the Jodhpur Tekra at number 25. It’s a nice neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of stuff—soap, flour, notebooks, you name it. We don't have a lot of walking space inside because we try to stock as much as possible. I know where every single item is, even the small things tucked in the back corners. The morning starts early here, usually before the sun is fully up, so we can get the milk crates inside. Sangavi has a lot of families, so we see the same faces every day. Kids come in for candy, and their parents come in for the daily groceries. We don't use any fancy barcodes. I just know the prices by heart. The shop can get quite crowded in the evenings. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but no one seems to mind. There’s an old fan on the ceiling that hums while it spins. We’ve had the same wooden counter for years, and it’s worn smooth in the spots where people lean. We don't have a website or anything. We just open the doors and talk to whoever comes in. It’s a humble business, and we are happy to be here on the Tekra serving our regular customers.
