Shri Nakoda Electronics & Furniture

Our shop, Shri Nakoda Electronics & Furniture, is located on Yerwada Chitra Talkies Road. We are specifically in the Janta Nahar area, right opposite Mitra Mandal. It’s a very active street with a lot of foot traffic, especially because of the old cinema nearby. We sell a bit of everything, from large wooden cupboards and sofa sets to refrigerators and smaller kitchen items. The shop is quite packed, so you have to be careful when walking around so you don't trip over a washing machine or a table. I’ve been here for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a lot. We get all sorts of customers coming through the door. Some people are looking for a new TV, while others need a simple bed for a rented room. I usually sit near the front door so I can talk to people as they walk in. This is a family-run business. My son helps me with the heavy lifting and the deliveries, using our small truck to move things to people's homes. The traffic on Chitra Talkies Road is usually quite bad, which makes unloading our new stock a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a modern showroom with fancy lights. It’s just a regular store with bright lights and a lot of items on display. People know they can come here and get a fair price by talking to us directly. It’s a simple way of working.
