Chandan Lights & Furniture

Chandan Lights & Furniture is our shop located at 10 Viman Nagar. We are in the Viman Prestige building within Someshwara Park, right near the Union Bank of India. It is a decent-sized space, but it often feels cramped because we have so many lamps and pieces of furniture squeezed in. The air is usually a bit dusty from the woodwork and the packing materials. We spend a lot of time unboxing new stock and trying to find places to display it. Lighting is tricky because you have to make sure all the bulbs are working and the wiring is safe. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, or a glass shade gets cracked during transit, which is always frustrating. We have a lot of different people coming in, some just looking and others looking for something very specific for their homes. We don't really have a sales pitch. We just show them what is available in the back or on the floor. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. My hands are usually busy fixing a plug or moving a heavy chair. Viman Nagar is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street. We stay open late most days to accommodate people who work nearby. It’s just a regular shop trying to provide basic things for people's houses. Nothing too fancy, just wood, metal, and glass. We try to keep things organized but it is hard.
