Better Living

Better Living is tucked away on Plot No 16 in the Shri Shivaji CHS in Ganeshkhind. It’s more of a quiet residential area than a commercial hub, which makes the atmosphere quite different from a typical shop. We operate out of this space, dealing with things that make a home a bit more comfortable. There’s no big sign or flashing lights outside our door. We like it that way because it feels more personal. When people come by, they are usually neighbors or people who heard about us from someone else in the society. We spend our days looking at catalogs or talking to suppliers about different household items. The office is small and filled with samples and folders. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the daily tasks. Ganeshkhind is a pleasant part of town to be in, with more trees than the more central areas. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs smoothly and the orders get placed on time. Sometimes things get delayed with the deliveries, and we have to spend the afternoon on the phone sorting it out with the transporters. It’s a simple business, really. We just want to help people find what they need for their houses without any extra stress. It’s a slow and steady process, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years.
