Shri Krishna Battery

My shop is right here in Karve Nagar on N S Road and I have been running Shri Krishna Battery for a good while now. Most days start early because that is when people find out their car or bike will not start. The place is usually full of those heavy black plastic battery cases and there is always a bit of that sharp acid smell in the air which I do not even notice anymore. I have got a couple of guys helping me out and we spend most of our time lugging things around or checking voltages with those handheld meters. It gets pretty greasy on the floor from all the vehicles coming in and out so we try to keep it clean but it is a losing battle most of the time. We have got some old chairs tucked in the corner for folks to sit while they wait for a charge or a swap. It is not a fancy place at all but it gets the job done. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat or have tea. We deal with all sorts of batteries from the tiny ones for scooters up to the big heavy ones for those home power backups. It is hard work on the back and your hands are always stained with something but that is just how it goes when you are working with lead and terminals all day.
