Shri Ganesh Arts

We are over in Warje at the Suyog Plaza. It is a busy spot, especially being so close to the Shivajirao Bhosle Bank. You see a lot of people coming and going from there all day long. My name is here on the sign, Shri Ganesh Arts, and we’ve been tucked in this corner for a bit now. It isn’t a huge place, just a simple shop where we get our work done. Most days, I am here early to open up the shutters before the traffic gets too bad on the main road. The plaza has a lot of different shops, but people usually find us if they look for the bank first. We do mostly local work, whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a bit noisy with the cars and the people chatting outside, but you get used to it after a few months. I usually keep a few chairs out for anyone waiting. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything like that. Just the tools we use and the projects we are finishing up. The light in the afternoon is quite good for working, though it gets a bit warm inside during the summer months. We just keep the fan running and keep moving. It is a decent living and we know most of the other shop owners around here. If you are walking past the bank, you will probably see me sitting near the entrance, likely working on a frame or chatting with one of the neighbors who just finished their banking business.
