Shri Datta Mobile Shopee

Shri Datta Mobile Shopee is located in Karve Nagar, which is a pretty lively neighborhood. We have a small shop that is basically packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. Most of the day is spent behind the glass counter, looking at small parts and trying to figure out why someone’s device isn't working right. The space is quite narrow, so when three or four people come in at once, it gets a bit crowded. You can hear the noise from the street all day long—mostly scooters and people talking on their way to the shops nearby. We keep the lights bright so we can see what we are doing with the small tools we use. Karve Nagar has a lot of energy, and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the back, but usually, it’s just the sound of the fans and the chatter from the sidewalk. There are shelves full of boxes and old components that we might need one day, even if they look like junk to anyone else. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just open up, take care of whoever walks through the door, and then shut the metal shutter when it’s time to go home.
