Shreyas Civil Engineering

Our office is Flat Number 4 in Ganesh Apartment, which is part of the Kasturba Society in Vishrantwadi. It’s a quiet residential area, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. We do all our civil engineering work from here. It is basically a converted apartment, so it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have desks covered in blueprints, site maps, and rulers. Shreyas Civil Engineering isn't about big glass buildings and fancy suits. We are usually in our work boots because we spend half our time out at construction sites anyway. When we are in the office at Vishrantwadi, we are mostly doing calculations or drawing up plans. It’s a lot of focus and quiet work. Sometimes the neighbors in the society pop by to say hello. We don’t have a big sign outside or a receptionist. If you knock on the door, one of the engineers will probably answer it with a pencil behind their ear. The kitchen in the flat is where we make the tea, and that’s where most of our meetings happen. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just look at the site requirements and try to figure out the best way to build what needs to be built. It’s practical, everyday engineering without any of the extra fluff. We just focus on the drawings and the concrete.
