Shrey Ex-Pro International

Our place is called Shree Ganesh, situated at Plot No - 470 in Sector - 25, PCNT, Nigdi. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s much quieter than the central areas. Shrey Ex-Pro International is run by just a few of us. We have a decent-sized plot, so there’s enough room for us to store some of the international goods we handle before they go out. The building isn't anything fancy, just a functional space where we can get our work done. I usually spend most of my time in the front office dealing with the export paperwork, while the others are in the back checking the crates. We have a small garden area in the front that we try to keep alive, though the sun is pretty harsh on the plants. Most of our days are spent coordinating with transport companies and making sure the customs papers are in order. It’s a lot of waiting around for emails and then suddenly having ten things to do at once. We don't have a big staff or a corporate hierarchy. We just talk across the desks to get things sorted. It’s honest work, and we like the independence of running our own small operation out here in Nigdi. We have a small plastic table in the corner where we eat our lunch, usually some home-cooked food we brought in. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours.
