Shreenath Veg & Non Veg

Our place, Shreenath Veg & Non Veg, has a bit of a long address over in Shivaji Nagar at 6th A Main. We are near the New Anjali Apartments on Gokhale Nagar Road, right in the HMT Layout block by the 2nd Cross. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you are not from around this part of town, but once people find us, they usually come back. We serve both veg and non-veg dishes because that is what people around here want. We have two separate sections in the kitchen to keep things right. It is a lot of work managing both sides of the menu. The pots are always bubbling with something. We get our groceries from the market nearby every couple of days. The chairs are old and the paint on the walls is starting to peel a bit in the corners, but it is a comfortable spot for a quick meal. I spend a lot of time standing at the counter talking to the regulars about the weather or the local news. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people walking by. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles, which makes it look more interesting than it really is. It is just a regular eating house where we try to keep the prices fair for the working folks in Shivaji Nagar.
