Shree Vighnharta Watch & Mobile

Down in Kamshet, over by T.Dasara Halli, you will find Shree Vighnharta Watch & Mobile. It’s a small place, really just a single room that we’ve split between two different types of things. On one side, we have the watches. You can hear them ticking if the shop is quiet enough, though that doesn't happen very often. On the other side, we handle the mobile phones and all the little accessories that go with them. The glass counters are always covered in fingerprints by the end of the day from people pointing at the different models. We have a small workbench in the back with a magnifying glass and some tiny screwdrivers for when a watch battery needs changing or a phone screen is cracked. The walls are covered in colorful packages of charging cables and headphones. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic from T.Dasara Halli, so we usually have a small radio playing in the background to even things out. We don’t have a big staff, so it is usually just one or two of us here from morning until night. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people coming in to get a watch strap fixed or to top up their phone credit. It’s a simple setup and we don't try to make it more than it is. We just focus on the small repairs and making sure the clocks are all showing the right time. The door hinge squeaks a little bit whenever someone enters.
