The crowd is constant, and people are always rushing past the shop. We deal in various metal goods, and the shop at 106 Ranade Road is usually packed with stock. It’s heavy work, moving metal around all day. The air smells a bit like iron and rain sometimes. I started working here because it was a solid way to make a living. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. The focus is on the inventory and making sure we have what people ask for. You might find me drinking tea at the front while waiting for a delivery. It’s a rough and tumble kind of life, but it suits me. The address might seem confusing to some, but for us, it’s just where we work every day.
