Shree Saibaba Stores

Shree Saibaba Stores is tucked away on Hanuman Mandir Lane. If you know where Janta Icecream is, we are right across from them. It’s a good spot because people usually grab an ice cream and then wander over to see what we have. The lane is a bit narrow, so it can get congested when a delivery truck tries to squeeze through. I’ve been running this store for several years now. It’s a simple shop with a bit of everything on the shelves. I try to keep the stock fresh, but sometimes things sit for a bit longer than I’d like. I don't have any staff, so it’s just me here most of the time. If I need to go eat, I just pull the shutter down for half an hour. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, so you have to watch your step. Most of my customers are people who live in the houses nearby. We chat about the weather or the local news while I bag up their items. It’s a quiet life, really. I open up early and sweep the front every morning before the sun gets too high. There’s always a bit of dust because of the road, but that’s just how it is. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local store where you can find the basics. People know they can find me here from dawn till dusk, six days a week, just doing my regular work.
