Shree Raj General Stores

My family has been running Shree Raj General Stores here in Ganj Peth for quite some time now. We are right on Savitribai Road, just across from Padamshali Bhavan. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days start early for us because people need their basic stuff before heading to work or school. We keep most of the things you would expect in a general store like milk, bread, soaps, and snacks. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded especially in the evenings, but we try to help everyone as fast as we can. It’s just us working here, no big team or anything. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. If you live around Pune or are just passing through Ganj Peth, you’ve probably seen our sign at number 561. We don't have a website or fancy ads. We just open up every morning and wait for the regulars to drop by for their daily supplies. It’s a simple way of living. We keep track of everything on paper mostly. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck is late, but that’s just how it goes. People stop by to chat too, not just to buy things. It feels good to be part of the neighborhood here. We are just a plain shop doing what we do.
