Shree Pipes

If you come over to Prashant Society, you will see a lot of pipes stacked up at numbers 50 and 51. That is where we spend our days. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a residential-style society, but it works for us. We have all kinds of sizes and types of pipes leaned up against the walls or sitting in the yard. It can get pretty messy when a big shipment comes in and we have to move everything around to find space. Most of the time, it’s just us talking to plumbers or contractors who need a few lengths of pipe for a job nearby. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. Usually, we are out in the sun, checking the inventory or loading up a small truck that’s parked awkwardly on the curb. Sometimes we lose a pen or a notebook in the middle of all the inventory, which can be frustrating. The neighborhood is quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice. We know most of the people around here by now. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people just find us because they know we have the stock. It’s a simple business. We keep track of things on paper mostly, and we try to make sure nobody walks away without getting what they came for. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved but that is part of the work.
