Shree Krupa Mini Market

You can find us at Shree Krupa Mini Market over on the 3rd Main Road in Akurdi. We are right in the Amar Jyothi Layout, which is mostly houses and families. The shop is full of all sorts of things like bags of lentils, soaps, and those small packets of biscuits that kids like. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much as we can on the shelves. Sometimes you have to turn sideways to get down the aisle if someone else is already there. The morning is usually our busiest time because everyone wants their milk and bread before they go to work. We spend a lot of our day just sweeping the front step or restocking the crates of cold drinks in the back. The 3rd Main Road can get noisy with all the scooters passing by but Amar Jyothi Layout is generally a decent place to be. We know most of the people who live in the nearby buildings. They come in for one thing and end up talking for ten minutes. The bell on the door rings constantly and sometimes it gets a bit annoying, but you get used to it. We don’t have fancy signs or bright lights. It is just a neighborhood store where we try to keep the shelves from looking empty. We stay open until late at night so people can grab whatever they forgot during the day.
