Shree Hare Krishna Watch Co is situated right on Sinhagad Road. If you know the area, you know how busy this road gets with all the shops and people moving about. We are just one of the many small businesses along this stretch. Our shop is a straightforward place where we take care of watch repairs. We don’t have any polished marble floors or bright neon lights. It’s just a basic shopfront with a counter and our repair equipment. Most of our day involves people stopping by with watches that aren't working right. Maybe the glass is cracked or the internal movement has seized up. We take them apart, see what’s wrong, and try to fix them. It’s slow work and can be hard on the eyes, so we have good lamps at the back. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. Some people stop by just to ask for the time or to get a new battery put in while they wait. The noise of the traffic on Sinhagad Road is constant, but it’s just part of the background for us now. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We are just local watchmakers. The shop is a bit small and sometimes gets crowded when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. It’s our daily routine and we’ve been doing it this way for quite some time.
