Shree Hanuman Store

Shree Hanuman Store is over at 41216 Karve Road, near the Kasat Showroom in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. This is a busy area with a lot of students and shoppers moving around. We’ve been here for a while, selling various general goods. The shop is quite narrow, so we’ve had to be clever about how we stack the shelves. We carry everything from stationery to snacks and household cleaners. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to ask customers to repeat themselves. It’s a lively neighborhood to be in. We don't have any fancy lighting or big displays. We just put the items where they fit. My uncle used to run this place before me. I’ve tried to keep things the way he had them, mostly because it works. We have a small stool behind the counter that’s seen better days. Customers often stop for a quick word about the weather or the local news. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just sell things at the price on the packet. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We close up on Sunday afternoons to get some rest. Most people around here know us by now. It’s just a regular part of life on Karve Road. We're just here to provide what's needed for the folks nearby and keep things moving.
