Shree Gurukrupa Steel Furniture

Our workshop, Shree Gurukrupa Steel Furniture, is on the Baner Pashan Link Road. We are right across from the Ranmala Hotel, so it’s easy to find if you’re heading towards Pashan. It’s a growing area, but we still have that local feel. Most of the time, the shop is full of the sound of grinding and welding sparks. We make things like cupboards, racks, and simple frames. It’s a messy process, and there’s usually a layer of fine dust on everything, including our clothes. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, you just see the pieces we are working on currently, scattered around the floor. Sometimes a customer comes in with a specific idea, and we try to figure out how to build it with the tools we have. The road outside has gotten much busier lately, and sometimes the noise of the traffic competes with our machines. We take a lot of tea breaks, usually getting a cup from the stall nearby when the work gets too heavy. It’s just a few of us here, doing the best we can with the steel we get. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People see our work or hear about us from a neighbor and then stop by. It’s a practical life, working with our hands and making things that people actually use in their homes. We shut the shop when the street lights come on.
