Shree Greenfarm Producer Company Limited is over at Shelgaon in the Indapur taluka of Pune district. Our main spot is house number 1159. It’s a typical village house where we’ve set up our workspace. Indapur is a big farming area, so being right in Shelgaon helps us stay close to the fields. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us farmers pooled our resources together. We spend a lot of time discussing water levels and crop prices. Our office doesn't have much—just some chairs, a cupboard for files, and a computer that sometimes acts up. We are local people, and most of us have known each other for years. The work is mostly about getting the harvest ready and making sure everyone gets their fair share. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate, but we get by. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone wants to know about us, they usually just walk in and ask. We keep the doors open during the day. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the farming and the logistics of moving things to the market. Shelgaon is a quiet place, but we keep busy enough with the daily chores and meetings. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
