Shree General Store

Shree General Store is right here on Aundh Gaon Road. We've been in Pune for a while now. Most days I’m here early opening up the shutters. It gets dusty on the road sometimes but people stop by on their way to work. We have milk, bread, and the usual snacks. I try to keep the shelves full but sometimes things run out if the delivery is late. It’s a small place, nothing fancy. You might have seen us near the corner. My nephew helps out in the evenings when it gets a bit crowded with students. We sell pens, notebooks, and those little packets of biscuits everyone likes. Sometimes the change is hard to find so we keep some candies ready. The fan makes a bit of noise in the summer but it keeps the place cool enough. Customers usually just want to grab their stuff and go, which is fine. We know most of the people living nearby by face, even if we don't know all the names. It's just a regular shop where you get what you need for the kitchen or the kids. Nothing much has changed here over the years, same old counter and same old racks. We stay open until late evening. If you’re walking down Aundh Gaon Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local spot for the neighborhood folks to pick up their daily things without driving too far.
