Shree Datta Steel & Sanitaryware

The shop is located at Sunder Niwas in Nityanand Nagar. We have been in Dhanakawadi for quite some time now, dealing with steel items and all kinds of sanitaryware. It is a busy area with the C G S Quarters nearby. Most days are spent moving pipes and fittings around. People come in looking for specific parts for their bathrooms or kitchens, and we try to find what they need in the stacks. It is not a huge place, so things get piled up sometimes. We keep a lot of stock because you never know what someone might need for a repair. My father started this and now I handle most of the daily walk-ins. Dealing with steel is heavy work, and our hands are usually dusty by noon. The neighborhood has grown a lot, and we see the same faces often. It is just a basic hardware store, no fancy displays or bright lights. Just rows of metal and ceramic. We open early because the local plumbers like to pick up their supplies before they start their jobs. If you are walking down from the quarters, you will find us easily enough. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth mostly works for us in this part of Pune. Just a local business trying to keep the shelves full. Sometimes we have to order things in if we run out, but we try to keep the basics always ready for the customers who walk in off the street.
