Our shop is located at 20/3 in Hadapsar, right near Kwality Bakers and Confectioners. It’s actually a good spot because you can smell the bread while we are working on computers. We handle a lot of different tech issues, mostly fixing broken screens or helping people when their laptops won't turn on. The workspace is usually covered in wires, screws, and open computer cases. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Pune gets quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time just cleaning out the fans inside the machines. People bring in their systems and we tell them what we think is wrong. Sometimes it is a quick fix and other times we have to wait for parts to arrive from across town. We aren't a big corporate service center. It’s just us in a small room trying to get people's stuff working again. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon; we just tell you if it's worth fixing or if it's time to get a new one. The shop is small, so there isn't much room to sit and wait, but there are plenty of shops nearby to visit while we work. It’s a steady pace of work and we see a lot of the same faces from the Hadapsar area. We try to be honest about the costs and how long things will take because we know people rely on their computers for everything now.
