Shree Balaji Shopping Mart

Shree Balaji Shopping Mart is located in the Shri Ram Complex over at the Midc T Point. We’re out here in Wadi, right on the Amravati Road. Most people recognize the area because of the Rahul Hotel Palace which is quite close to us. The mart is where I spend most of my life these days. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running smoothly. We get a lot of workers from the MIDC area stopping by after their shifts. The morning routine is always the same, checking the milk deliveries and making sure the vegetables look okay. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always sweeping. I’m usually behind the counter or back in the storeroom trying to find where I put the extra bags of rice. It’s not a shiny supermarket, just a local mart for the people living and working around Wadi. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage with the lights we have, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. I have a few helpers who have been with me for a while now. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just know where everything is and try to help people find what they need. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and it keeps us busy from morning to night.
