You can find Shree Ambika Mobile Shoppee over in Bhawani Peth at number 378. The building is older, and we’ve been in this space for a good amount of time. It’s a tight squeeze inside with all the stock we try to keep on the shelves. We have glass cabinets filled with all sorts of mobile accessories, from headphones to those little pins you need to open a SIM tray. The air in Bhawani Peth always feels a bit heavy with the smell of the markets nearby. We keep a small radio playing in the background most of the time just to have some noise while we work. People come into 378 looking for all sorts of things, mostly cheap fixes for their older phones. We spend a lot of time cleaning out charging ports with little brushes. It’s repetitive work, but it keeps us busy throughout the day. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, so we have a few extra lamps near the back where we do the trickier stuff. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do here. It’s just a mobile shop where we try to help out the folks who live around the Peth. We know which floorboards creak and which drawers stick. It’s a familiar place for us and for the people who have been coming here for years. Just a regular shop at a regular address in the city.
